Our children’s education always has a need for all types of things from Classroom sets of books, thesaurus, scientific calculators, science lab books, abacus, stereoscopes, anatomy textbooks, play scripts, a camera for the yearbook staff, a pottery kiln, workout videos and models of plant and animal cells. Today, The Dallas Education Foundation awards grants to teachers at every level of DSD. We have awarded thousands of dollars to classrooms each year. By supporting DEF, you are directly impacting the lives of students and staff within our school district. Your generosity allows us to fund initiatives such as:

• Innovative classroom projects that engage students and foster creativity.
• Technology upgrades to ensure that students have access to modern learning tools and resources.

In the past we have provided grants for:

• The Science Olympaid Team
• The Robotic Team
• The National Geographic Bee
• And so much more…

Dallas Education Foundation is proud to give grants to Dallas educators. We have more deserving applications than we have funds to disburse. We welcome donations to the Foundation at any time. If you have a specific project you are interested in funding, we accept directed funds as well. All donations are tax deductible and can be combined with a gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust for a further tax credit. Please think of us when doing your year end charitable giving. Thanks!
