Thank you to all of our sponsors and to all the wonderful people who helped support us! We raised over $6,000 to help fund this year’s grants! We couldn’t have done it without you!

New Basketballs!

Back in 2023, the Dallas Education Foundation was able to provide a grant for $350 to purchase new basketballs for Lyle Elementary school!

Julie Reimer, from Lyle Elementary, says…
“The kids love their new basketballs. Oakdale students have also used them this year, so probably over 700 kids have benefitted from them already!”

Thank you Dallas Community Foundation

We are excited to announce that we received a significant grant from the Dallas Community Foundation. This grant will allow us to fund our Teacher Grants for the 2022-2023 school year. This will help us to partner with DSD to improve the educational opportunities for the youth of our community. Since 1995, the Dallas Community Foundation has helped donors put their charitable dollars into their own community, giving a hand up to those in need and improving the quality of life in Dallas. Through the generosity of donors, the Foundation has given back more than $1 million in grants for scholarships.

Great News!

We recently were granted status as a participating non-profit in the Oregon Cultural Trust. The Oregon Cultural Trust is our state’s thank you gift for your generous support of Dallas Education Foundation. Donors who contribute to Oregon cultural nonprofits, including ours, then make a matching donation to the Trust, can receive a 100% state tax credit on the Cultural Trust donation, up to $500 per individual, $1,000 per household and $2,500 per Class-C Corporation.
